The Econometrics of Workplace Secrecy: Quantifying Information Asymmetry in Corporate Environments

This paper explores the security vulnerabilities of open-desk office environments. It uses Ochometric Theory of Secrecy to analyze risk exposure. Open desks facilitate corporate carelessness, visual information leakage, and macroeconomic destabilization. Data shows that exposed documents lead directly to corporate espionage and market volatility. This study advises all organizational tiers, from Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) to clerical staff, to secure physical data. Implementing clean-desk protocols mitigates structural information leakage.
