Abstract The convergence of emerging digital technologies has led to the development of the Metaverse, a persistent and immersive virtual environment that is reshaping the future of commerce. Metaverse Commerce refers to the conduct of commercial activities within interconnected virtual ecosystems where users interact through digital avatars, engage with virtual products and services, and participate in digital economies. The integration of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Block chain, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and Web 3.0 technologies has created unprecedented opportunities for businesses to transform cust- -tomer engagement and redefine traditional commerce models. Despite its enormous pote- -ntial, Metaverse Commerce faces significant challenges related to privacy, security, governance, technological infrastructure, and ethical considerations.
